Facebook recently made some significant changes and announced some big things. They just introduced the Graph Search , Well Facebook Graph Search is semantic search engine introduced by Facebook. It is basically designed to give answer to the user in simple language. Graph search uses the big data over the Facebook for specific search results. Well we are talking about the disabling Facebook desktop notification sound. Few days back when I was using Facebook, a ping sound amazed me. I was looking other tabs for sound source but later I realized its new desktop notification feature from Facebook. But some how it bad when you actually on some serious stuff.
But there must be a option for disabling it. well there is so how to disable facebook desktop notification sound
- Click on the settings ( Gear Menu )
- Go to the account settings
- In account settings go to Notification
- look for ” How to Get Notification ” section
- Click on that
- Uncheck the box ” Play the sound when each new notification is received “
- Save changes
You are done. This is how you can disable facebook desktop notification sound . Now this will not ping any sound again.
