That was pretty simple. But things have changed now. Booting your windows 8 in safe mode is not that easy. Even if you talk about Windows 7.

Step 1-

  • Go to the Run , Windows+R or simple search for RUN in start menu.
  • Type “msconfig” and hit enter.

  • Now System Configuration window will open.

Step 3-

  • In the system configuration select the boot option and check the Safe Boot and then hit apply and OK.

When you exit the system configuration a window will pop up and ask you to restart the windows. Just restart the windows and taaadaaa now your window will boot in safe mode. If you facing any problem just restore it to the previous date.

    Run Command prompt as Admin and type (copy/paste the following line in command prompt):

    bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy
    press enter

    safe mode as usual from the boot screen

    To revert:

    bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy standard
